The Holidays Embark On National Tour

Sydney four piece The Holidays are busy guys. Last year they released their debut long player Post Paradise, which garnered universally positive praise and last week on the 18th of January it received the Australian Music Prize’s Red Bull Award for Best Debut Release.

Shortly, the band will be boarding a plane and will tour the imposing musical frontier of the United States for the first time – including a showcase performance at Austin music conference and blogger’s wasteland, SXSW.

When they get back The Holidays are taking their summery mix of indie rock, electronica, tropicalia and pop jams on a national tour with support from special guests Gold Fields. Tickets go on sale 29 January 2011.
