Real talk: Byron Bay is your mecca for festivals in Australia. Falls? Yep. Splendour? You betcha. Bluesfest? Oh my, yes. The first of which we know all about already, the second has come and gone for the year, leaving the third to drop its first announcement for the 2015 instalment (it’s 25th anniversary!) today. Spoiler alert: It’s a belter.

Headlining the annual multi-day festival next year are Bluefest favourites and perennial lovers of Australia, The Black Keys. What’s that? You want more? Well alright then, you greedy sods. Alongside The Black Keys are other Bluesfest mainstays in Michael Franti & Spearhead, George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, Train, Xavier Rudd and Band of Skulls, amongst many, many others.

The 25th Anniversary of the Byron Bay Bluesfest takes place from Thursday April 2nd through to Monday April 6th, 2015. You can get fully involved in ticketing, camping, and other associated purchase packages RIGHT NOW over at Bluesfest.com.au.

The Black Keys have also announced an entirely separate national tour in support of their latest and eighth LP, Turn Blue, so you can get your fix of the Auerbach and Carney in a decidedly less chill environment. Those dates as follows:
