The Financial Times has reported that Apple Corps and EMI (the companies responsible for The Beatles’ business interests in regards to their master recordings) have been in talks with Activision and MTV games (video game publishers) about the production of a Beatles version of “Guitar Hero” and “Rock Band” respectively…
Talk about the eroding generational gap between Baby Boomers and Gen-X, fusing The Beatles with video games should appeal to ageing music fans and stoner teens alike. If these video games were to get made, all I’d want to know is would there be a “sitar mode” available?
