Partially because they kick ass in a male-female dual front approach that recalls the glorious sound of Jack White and Alison Mossheart in Dead Weather, partially because they give out free music every month (that’s the 66 Project – 6 songs in 6 months) and totally because they throw gigs that cost you $0 and make you the most relevant person in town. As yet unsigned but that will probably change by the time you read this, The Preachers spit blues like yo’ mama used to dance to back in the Prohibition Era.
