Or rather, Danielle Brooks and Uzo Aduba sing a Christmas medley.
Brooks and Aduba, who are best know to Aussie audiences for their phenomenal performances as the characters ‘Taystee‘ and ‘Crazy Eyes‘ in the Netflix series Orange Is the New Black, team up with with Brooklyn based band ‘Oh Honey’ to raise money for Artists Striving To End Poverty. The foundation was conceived by Broadway Musical Director Mary-Mitchell Campbell and Juilliard students with the aim being “to transform the lives of youth using the most powerful tool they had—their art.” Aduba who has been performing on Broadway for years and Brooks who is a Juilliard graduate lent their incredible voices to the cause
and in the process brings ALL the smiles to ALL the people.
