Here’s How To Listen To Taylor Swift’s ‘Karma’ Ft. Ice Spice & Her New Track ‘You’re Losing Me’

Taylor Swift has released a version of her track “Karma” featuring rapper Ice Spice.

Taylor first announced the news on her socials on Thursday morning, simultaneously exciting and confusing fans all over the globe.

“Um. So much to tell you. I’m a massive fan of this brilliant artist and after getting to know her I can confirm: she is THE ONE to watch,” Taylor wrote.

“So delighted to say that “Karma” featuring the incredible @icespicee_ will be out TOMORROW night at MIDNIGHT ET as a part of the new Midnights (Til Dawn Edition) deluxe album that you can pre-order now.”

Along with the Ice Spice-enhanced version of “Karma”, Taylor has also released an updated version of her track “Snow on the Beach” with more input from original collaborator Lana Del Rey.

This comes after her fans said that the original version of the song, which they both collaborated on, didn’t feature Lana’s unique vocals enough.

I would argue that any amount of Lana is a blessing, but that’s just me.

Taylor has also released a digital version of the track “Hits Different”. The song was originally a CD exclusive on Midnights so fans are stoked that they can finally pump the tune from their phone.

For those lucky enough to be attending her East Rutherford shows, the Midnights singer is releasing a special edition CD containing a song from the vault. But I find it pretty hard to believe that Taylor would risk letting her music find its way on some sneaky music sites that don’t provide profits for artists.

And while she says it’s from “the vault”, I reckon there’s a pretty good chance that we’ll hear some breakup tea about Joe Alwyn on the new track. More on that in a bit.

When is “Karma” ft. Ice Spice coming out?

In some on-brand Taylor behaviour, the re-recorded track featuring Ice Spice and the rest of the Midnights (Til Dawn Edition) dropped on Friday midnight in the United States, and 2pm Friday AEST.

So, basically, the song is out now!

Since then, she’s even gone to perform it live with Ice Spice during her Eras Tour. Ice Spice for the Australian leg of the Eras Tour, when?

Where can I listen To “Karma” Ft. Ice Spice?

To listen to “Karma” Ft. Ice Spice, you can buy the re-release of her latest album Midnights (Til Dawn Edition) on her website. Alternatively, you can give the tune a listen on Spotify or in the YouTube video below.

Based on mystical space images released with the initial announcement, fans are hoping that Taylor will be releasing a music video for the track.

But for now, please enjoy this fun little moving image situation.

Who is Taylor’s new track “You’re Losing Me” about and what are the hidden meanings?

In Taylor’s announcement, she mentioned that the new exclusive track “You’re Losing Me” was from the “vault”.

It’s not the first time she’s cracked it open to release some of her tunes that never got an official release. But while there certainly are implications that this is an old track, I wouldn’t be surprised if Taylor is using this special release to give us some tea about her recent breakup with Joe.

We’ll keep you updated on the goss for when we can finally get this tune in our ear holes.

Why do fans think there’s something strange about the Ice Spice and Taylor Swift collab?

Truth be told, the unexpected and interestingly-timed announcement that Taylor is teaming up with Ice Spice is making me wanna chuck on my tinfoil PR-conspiracy hat.

Especially since her rumoured boyfriend, Matty Healy, has been copping heat for saying some dicey racially charged comments towards the New York-based rapper.

Call me a conspiracy theorist, but Taylor and her publicist Tree Paine work pretty fkn hard to keep her image squeaky clean.

Now that Taylor and Matty have been papped holding hands and catching a ride in the same limo, which has led many to believe the pair are dating, I wouldn’t be surprised if Taylor is launching Operation Make My Problematic Boyfriend Palatable… or something like that.

Some fans believe that teaming up with Ice Spice is probably Taylor’s first step in attempting to clean up the image of a man who performed a Nazi salute on stage and has made offensive racial comments.

Whether you believe it’s a PR stunt or not, it’s certainly sparking some pretty heated discourse between her fans online.

What Did Matty Healy Say About Ice Spice?

Back in January, Matty made some pretty offensive, racial comments about the New York-based rapper when he went on the podcast The Adam Friedland Show.

Matty, along with hosts Adam Friedland and Nick Mullen, referred to the Nigerian-Dominican rapper as a “chubby Chinese lady” and “Inuit Spice Girl” before making derogatory comments about her body. The trio also mocked Chinese and Hawaiian accents while they discussed Ice Spice’s ethnicity.

His shitty comments came a week after Ice Spice told Elle Magazine that she was “obsessed” with Healy’s band The 1975.

In April, Matty did a bit of a half-baked apology for his awful comments during a gig in Auckland, New Zealand.

“Ice Spice, I’m sorry. It’s not because I’m annoyed that me joking got misconstrued. It’s because I don’t want Ice Spice to think I’m a dick. I love you, Ice Spice. I’m so sorry,” he said to the crowd.

Some fans believe that Taylor’s latest collab with Ice Spice is in an attempt of damage control for Matty’s image, rather than an example of her supporting up-and-coming artists.

The timing definitely feels odd, doesn’t it?
