Tame Impala Listen To Australia, Announce Second Sydney Opera House Show

Well thank fuck for that, because our anxiety levels were through the roof at the prospect of missing out.

Following “overwhelming pre sale demand” for their first-ever Sydney Opera House Forecourt performance on Wednesday, November 11, Tame Impala have just announced they’ll be staging a second Forecourt gig on Tuesday, 10 November.
Yep, the second gig will be before the first, presumably because it’s the only time their schedule allows.
Ben Marshall, Head of Contemporary Music at the Opera House, said in a statement:
“Kevin Parker’s mind has struck an immense chord with this city, with the reverberations from the mighty Currents record resulting in an instant sellout of the 1st Opera House Forecourt performance and needing a 2nd to be immediately placed on sale to meet the demand. It’s a grand gesture Tame Impala will be making at Opera House this November and you’ll want to say you were there.”
General tix to both performances go on sale 9am THIS MONDAY, right HERE.
