Tame Impala appeared as the musical guests on Saturday Night Live over the weekend, their very first time on the American telly show. Introduced by the episode’s host, Killing Eve star Sandra Oh, the boys performed their recently released psychedelic single ‘Patience’ and debuted a completely new song called ‘Borderline’.

The tracks mark Tame Impala’s first new music since Currents back in 2015, and its companion B-Sides & Remixes released in 2017.
‘Borderline’ does not appear to be on Spotify just yet so it looks like YouTube‘s your best mate tonight.
‘Borderline’ on repeat all through Monday.
The boys have a stacked year ahead of them consisting of a bunch of global festivals. There’s Coachella alongside Ariana Grande and Childish Gambino, Glastonbury 2019 – headlined by The Killers, The Cure, and Stormzy. *Checks notes* They’re leading Day Two of Barcelona‘s Primavera Sound with Cardi B and Janelle Monáe and then there’s the recently announced Lollapalooza fest in Chicago.
Grande, Gambino, Twenty One Pilots, The Strokes, and fellow Aussie Flume join Tame Impala.
