Talib Kweli Has No Idea Why He’s Credited On The New Peter Andre Album

In a positively embarrassing, potentially litigious case of cool by association involving a washed up 90s pop relic known for the number of crunches he performs per day and his fleeting marriage to a top heavy UK glamour model, legendary NYC MC and Black Star co-founder Talib Kweli has refuted claims that he makes an official guest appearance on the upcoming ninth Peter Andre studio album Angels & Demons (10 points and a Total Gym to whoever can name the eight which preceded it without the assistance of the internet).

Yes, it was a life altering instance of worlds colliding which we couldn’t quite understand at the time, and neither, apparently, could Kweli.

Today, the rapper took to Twitter to set the record straight by publicly pressure hosing his hands clean in 140 character increments while threatening legal action against the “douche bag” producer who “took my verse from another song w/out permission” and for the crippling professional damages associated with being musically affiliated with Peter Andre.

wow @mrpeterandre you just take people verses from other songs and put them on your album? Thats what hot in the streets? ok.

whoever produced Fly Away for @mrpeterandre is a douchebag. They took my verse from another song w/out permission. It’s abt to be a fun week

Hey @mrpeterandre I have a REAL song called Fly Away not that trash from your album, check it out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ww61xukChmQ … #attacktheblock!

How somebody tell you you on an album you never recorded on? then when you hit they mgr he like “what, we gave u publishing!” lol

I protect the integrity of my music like a grizzly protects cubs. Woe to those who actively stand in the way of that.

If you were born past 1990 this is who Peter Andre is. It was certainly a greasier time back then.
