Swedish House Mafia Came, Raved, And Caved

Ze trio of DJz known az ze Swedish House Mafia (sorry) have announced that their final days touring together are imminent, sharing a message on their website outlining their gratitude and final dates.

“Today we want to share with you that the tour we are about to go on will be our last. We want to thank every single one of you that came with us on this journey. We came, we raved, we loved.”

DJs Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso recently headlined both the Future Music and Coachella festivals after they started out DJing in a pizza parlour in Stockholm a decade earlier. The trio will play their final shows in England, Sweden – and thankfully for bronzed Eurotrash everywhere – Ibiza this (Northern Hemisphere) summer.

Rolling Stone reports that Ingrosso told the music mag as recently as last week that they trio hoped to collaborate with Paul McCartney, so it’s unclear whether it means they will stop producing all together as well. They could always just work with Karise Eden, who is apparently the next best thing.

David Guetta is understandably upset. Who will defend his honour against Deadmau5 now?
