Surprise! The Avalanches Drop First Track In 16 Years, Confirm New Album

HOLYSHITHOLYSHITHOLYSHIT.

The Avalanches have just dropped their first new track in 16 years and it is fucking mint.

If you missed the premier on Triple J earlier, it’s called ‘Frankie Sinatra‘ and features the ridiculously talented Danny Brown and MF Doom.

Also, their new album is called Wildflower, out July 8. We quiver in rampant anticipation.

The Avalanches also sent out a message on their socials today, apologising for keeping us waiting over a decade and a half since their 2000 album ‘Since I Left You‘ dropped and we were left thirsty for more. And 16 years is a long time to be thirsty.

YOU ARE FORGIVEN BUT PLEASE RELEASE THE REST OF IT AT YOUR EARLIEST CONVENIENCE I.E. NOW.
