Sublime To Tour Australia With New Singer

Sublime, the Cali-punk dope-smoking legends who brought us, among other things, ‘Santeria’, will be returning to Australia in 2012.

It will be the band’s first performance on our shores in a long-ass time. Their debut, 40 oz to Freedom was a huge hit when this year’s highschool graduates were in nappies. The band boast a new frontman in the shape of singer Rome Ramirez, who will be replacing singer Brad Nowell, who died of a heroin overdose in 1996.

The band play the HiFi Brisbane on the 5th of April, The Roundhouse in Sydney on the 7th and The Palace in Melbourne on the 9th. Start rolling those blunts pronto. Here’s a reminder of what you’ll need to prepare.
