When we were in the school band, the most exciting thing we got to play was ‘I Still Call Australia Home’ and selections from the Gershwin back catalogue. So envy if you will the Dublin’s Trinity Orchestra, made up of and conducted entirely by Uni students who get to choose their own repetoire which may or may not include a gigantic tribute to French [Ed-]bangers, Daft Punk. Watch this whole thing to the end (you won’t regret it, but you can fast-forward the first minute of tuning if you want) and start dusting off that old violin right now.
