Stevie Nicks And Harry Styles Sang A Duet At The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame

Music legend and ethereal being Stevie Nicks was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame overnight with the help of Harry Styles, who took to the stage with her to perform a duet of the classic song ‘Stop Draggin My Heart Around‘.

Avowed Stevie Nicks superfan Styles introduced her at the start of the show, saying “she’s the magical gypsy godmother who occupies the in-between.” Nicks then thanked him, although temporarily got the name of his band wrong, saying:

“Well, we met quite a long time ago actually. And what I really loved about Harry, was that when he decided to make a solo record from NSYNC, he chose to make… NSYNC, sorry, not NSYNC, sorry, I’m never gonna live that one down, I know that. One Direction.”

As anyone who has ever screamed and sobbed at the front of a Stevie Nicks show (guilty) is well aware, she is one hell of a live performer, and she played four songs on the night, including ‘Stand Back‘, ‘Edge Of Seventeen‘, and ‘Leather And Lace’, with Don Henley.

The Fleetwood Mac singer originally recorded ‘Stop Draggin My Heart Around’ with Tom Petty for her debut solo album Bella Donna in 1981. Tom Petty passed away in 2017, so Harry Styles stood in for him at the ceremony. You can see a video of their performance below:

Stevie Nicks and Harry Styles have struck up quite a sweet friendship over the last few years – she came on stage during his 2017 show at The Troubador to duet on the classic ‘Landslide‘, and she recently called him her long-lost love child and “the son I never had.”
