Today, Questlove gushed about the “massive drumoff” he had with Sydney born Warpaint drummer Stella Mozgawa. The Roots drummer tweeted to his 1.8 million followers “So cool that Stella of @_warpaint & I had a massive drumoff launching the epic Nike+ Fuelband” then linked to a promo video which featured zero seconds of drumming and no Nick Cannon references. Way to tease us Quest. The footage is yet to surface online but considering the caliber of Mozgawa’s previous jam buddies, ahem, Tom Morello and Perry Farrell and one half of the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, we reckon she has a pretty good shot at winning.
