As sure as the sun will set on the day before Splendour In The Grass begins (or as sure as it is that at least once (1) person will forget the tent poles) the Red Bull is kicking off the annual festival with a special pre-Splendour party, this year featuring a boogie clinic from the likes of Channel Tres, Milan Ring, Pond, and heaps more on the Mix Up Stage.

The Red Bull team is once again getting the vibes ready for the incoming three-day festival bonanza with its A Night With pre-party, serving up a pearler of a sesh to really lay the foundations down for the weekend ahead.
For all you early birds who remembered to lock in annual leave, or somehow swindled a couple of days to get to Byron Bay bright and early, you’ll be able to head into the festival site on Thursday night, with the Mix Up Stage playing host to a very healthy lineup of shit-hot talent.
Joining Pond, Channel Tres, and Milan Ring is Electric Fields, JessB, FlexMami and Mystics (a duo made up of Jagwar Ma‘s Jono Ma and Jonti.)

The whole thing kicks off from 6pm on Thursday July 18 and runs through to midnight, giving you keen beans ample time to break in your festival dancing shoes and get the dancefloor at the Mix Up Stage nice and packed in for the next three days of boogying under the big tent.
All you need is a three-day pass to the festival, and maybe make sure that your campsite/accommodation is all set up and ready to go for when you’re ready to settle in after a few hours of cutting shapes.
Considering last year’s Thursday night gig with Baker Boy, Jesswar, and The Formula packing out the tent before the festival even officially begins, you’re probably gunna want to get your ass into gear quick smart and head in early for this one.
