The Spice Girls Simply Didn’t Bother To Invite Posh On Their Reunion Tour

This weekend the reuniting Spice GirlsSporty, Baby, Ginger and Scary – had a few words to say about their absent friend, Posh.

Appearing on The Jonathan Ross Show this weekend, Sporty Spice aka Mel C aka Melanie Chisholm, said that they didn’t bother to ask Victoria Beckham if she wanted to join them on their reunion tour, because they know she’s busy.

I saw Victoria recently and obviously, we’ve all been in contact. She is still very much a part of the Spice Girls, she really supports us and we really support her.

But she did raise the point that she was never actually asked. We just presumed.

Just presumed she wouldn’t wan to join her old pals. Just presumed! The audacity.

Ginger aka Geri Haliwell justified the band excluding their fanciest member: “She just didn’t want to do it. She [is] busy with her fashion and she has moved on.

Emma Bunton, Baby Spice, noted that Beckham just never really into touring: “We realised that a while back that she didn’t enjoy that so much.

Still Haliwell would like y’all to know that even if they inadvertently left out Beckham because they figured she’d say mmm, nahh, girl power is still alive.

The philosophy of us lot is that we are a band, on and off the stage and we care each other, we support each other and we support her and she has been a huge part of our lives and we care about her so it’s all good.

Even though Scary Spice/Mel B/Melanie Brown dressed as Victoria Beckhamnot going on tour” for Heidi Klum‘s Halloween party, she still hopes one day they will finally reunite for real.

I’m always hopeful. I love the Spice Girls, they are my girls and I would love nothing better than all five of us to be together so I always put it out there but I’m happy with four too.

It’s okay though, there’s no beef here: last week Beckham posted her support of her former bandmates to Instagram, writing: “I won’t be joining my girls on stage again but being in the Spice Girls was a hugely important part of my life and I wish them so much love and fun as they go back on tour next year.

You’re gonna have to head over the UK in June next year if you wanna spice up your life, literally, but if you’re a devoted enough fan that should be no biggie.
