Sound Alliance Hooks Up With Hype Machine

Sound Alliance, the parent company of Australian music portals In The Mix (dance), Faster Louder (rawk) and Mess + Noise (jaded bros with discerning taste) have today announced a partnership with the world’s premiere music aggregation site The Hype Machine.

We’re not entirely sure what the partnership entails but a press release promises to “localise and represent the US-based online music site” through integration with Sound Alliance’s existing network of music sites. This could mean a higher representation of Australian blogs/content/acts on Hype Machine as well as localised banner ads and promotions across the site.

“We are constantly reviewing local and international opportunities” explained Sound Alliance Managing Director Neil Ackland “and this is one of a series of new media and product additions we are currently working on”. And what a product addition it is, with approximately 100,000 Australian visits to Hype Machine each month, Australia is the fourth largest audience for the site globally.
