If you thought the cancellation of reality show ‘Here Comes Honey Boo Boo’ amid reports cast member Mama June was dating a convicted child molester signalled the last iota of airtime for the World’s Redneckiest Family, it pains us to tell you they’re not done. Not even close.
Some idiot with swipe-key access to a recording studio – aka Adam Barta, the same idiot who created music videos for Teen Mom stars – thought it would be a good idea to have 10-year-old Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson record a song, because $$$$.
‘Movin’ Up’ truly is a fucking abomination, the likes of which we haven’t seen since ‘What The Fox Say’, mostly because it’s essentially four absolute bogans (her mum Mama June, sister Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon and dad Mike “Sugar Bear” Thompson all make awkward AF cameos) ordering people to do the “Honey Boo Boo Bop”.
Choice lyrics include “I’m the princess of this castle / Mama June queen of the house / Went from something to nothing / I holler and scream and shout”.
Annnnnnd that’s all we could really get down because it’s an assault on the eardrums/80% of the lyrics are unintelligible.
