Now that the good white stuff is hitting the country’s high country, Snowtunes, the self-described “Southern Hemisphere’s biggest snow festival“, is back for another year at Jindabyne in the NSW Snowy Mountains, and as much as it’s gunna be sub-zero temps outside, the festival is red bloody hot.
Stretching over two days on Friday August 30 & Saturday August 31, Snowtunes 2019 is being led by The Reubens, Vera Blue, and The Presets, making sure you put those tools down and pick up something to warm your insides before hitting the dance floor.
Joining them is a whole swathe of solid acts across two stages, who will absolutely keep you moving in the chilly temps of the Snowies, including Slowly Slowly, The Chats, WAAX, West Thebarton, Touch Sensitive, Trophy Eyes, Motez, Made In Paris and stacks more.
Tickets for this huge bash in the powder surrounded by iconic Aussie slopes like Thredbo, Perisher and Blue Cow are on sale from 9am Friday June 7, and a cheeky pre-sale happening from 9am Thursday June 6, as long as you sign up by tomorrow night at the Snowtunes festival website.
Check out the full lineup for the whole thing below, and dig out that fluoro ski suit from the back of the garage, it’s time to hit the slopes.
