Sneaky Sound System Records With Jay-Z and Kanye

Preposterous though it might seem, Sneaky Sound System’s Connie Mitchell boasts some of the the deepest hip hop credentials in Australia. Known primarily for dancefloor fillers about spaceships, loving life and photographs, Mitchell has also contributed vocals to Rick Ross’ Teflon Don (“Life Fast, Die Young”), Kanye West’s Graduation (“Can’t Tell Me Nothing”, “Flashing Lights”) and most recently, according to Sneaky’s official Facebook page, Mitchell now boasts studio time with Beyonce Knowles, Jay-Z and the aforementioned West.

The hip hop triumvirate, currently in Australia for Jay-Z’s national support of Dublin juggernaut U2, enlisted Mitchell to record two tracks in a Sydney studio earlier this week. Said the Facebook update: “Spent the night in the recording studio with Kanye, Jay-Z and Beyonce. Connie recorded 2 amazing tunes and well….it was pretty f*$@ing amazing!!! Not much more to say but wow, wow and wow!”

Toto we’re not in Machine Gun Fellatio anymore. Though details of the hook up are scant, a guest spot on Hov and West’s forthcoming LP “Watch The Throne” isn’t out of the question. As Hov proved on The Blueprint 3, he’s got mad love for Australian electro. Life. How good is life?
