Siri Ups Sass Factor, Plays Rihanna When Asked To Play “Loud Farts”

Ever get the feeling that Siri has somehow gotten stuck into the virtual vino as of late? Because the sass factor on Apple‘s formless assistant has ramped up to eleven, leading to visions of her chilling by the pool with a box of Colonel Stanley’s finest at the ready, giving precisely zero fucks and flippantly dismissing all queries as quickly as they arrive.

Basically, Siri be sitting there looking at all your inane questions like…
Siri’s latest discovered foible seems to be one of her best yet. Those of you who have caved to temptation and have hooked yourselves up to the streaming music teat that is Apple Music will find that when you ask Siri to “Play loud farts,” she just goes straight ahead and cues up “What’s My Name” by Rihanna (featuring Drake).

If you ask, you shall recieve… something.

It even seems to work on phones that don’t have either an Apple Music account, or the song uploaded to their iTunes.

First attempt, seems consistent even if you don’t have the song.

Now, it’s probably worth pointing out here that there are reports floating about suggesting that the song is a kind of default response to asking Siri to “play *random phrase*.” And that when we tried it for ourselves, the response we got was some profoundly nonsensical lunacy that leads us to believe Siri may have been hitting that bottle a wee bit too hard.
Still, it’s fun to imagine a liquored up Siri swanning about a house party who does this whenever Rihanna comes on the stereo.
Tell ’em, Siri. You sassy bish.
