Shia LaBeouf Drops Fiery Diss Track Calling Out Drake And Lil Yachty

Shia LaBeouf‘s name, loosely translated, means ‘thank God for beef’ … make of that whatever you want, but the actor-slash-performance artist’s ongoing beef with rapper Lil Yachty continues to escalate.
A few weeks back, LaBeouf served up a fairly entertaining diss track against Lil Yachty and Drake, going in on them for their perceived lack of integrity, authenticity and lyrical aptitude.
Peter Rosenberg of Hot 97 later released his own parody version, while Lil Yachty took a crack at Shia during an appearance on Ebro‘s Beats1 show. He said, in his own freestyle verse:
“I grew up watching Even Stevens / Now Steven ain’t nearly as even / But I want to thank you for the entertainment that evening / Yeah, we all laughed at you / ‘Cause we all know you wouldn’t say that if you saw me on your avenue.”

Are you still keeping up with this labyrinthine mess of who said what about whom? I hope so, because overnight, Shia LaBeouf took things even further, and spat yet another four minutes of insults.
In a recording that he sent to Charlamagne da God at Power 105.1, Hot 97’s rival station, LaBeouf called Rosenberg “faker than Drake’s Jamaican accent”, adding:
“Rosenberg’s the oldest turd he knows he’s dirt / Chasing relevance, holes in shirt / It’s hard to be 50 when you’re working at the station / and you’re stationed at a place that’s like 50th in the rankings.”

Invoking Yachty’s real name, he went on to say:

“I’ve heard enough from Miles Parker McCollum, Mc-kill-em / I’m miles above him / I got him I get him / This young man’s a victim my wisdom / I’m Mitchum with rhythm / This is cowboy shit he’s gonna bow out quick / He’s a cow tow trick / Him and Soulja [Boy] on that shout out shit / This is not, this a murder, this is tragic mane / he’s like Lil’ Romeo meets Raggedy Ann…”
Burn.
After live-streaming 24 hours of himself in an elevator and broadcasting a 50-hour marathon of his own films, this is probably Shia LaBeouf’s best career move in years. Enjoy:
