Ed Sheeran does seem to love a good pisstake – see his tall tale of a swashbuckling James Blunt for proof – but, mercifully, he’s alright on the other end of such stitch-ups.
He ought to be too, ’cause he’s now copped a misspelled tattoo courtesy of Saoirse Ronan.
Speaking to the crowd at his recent Glasgow gig, the English troubadour and fan of mathematical symbols explained the sitch: the Academy Award-nominated actress was charged with writing the name of his half-rapped single Galway Girl during the filming of its video clip.
Seeing as she’s apparently a bit of a prankster in her own right, she inked the text ‘Galway grill.’ Sheeran didn’t notice, or he didn’t care. Now he’s the proud owner of a delightfully fucked piece of ink.

It’s definitely not the first body art he’s copped, but damn, it might just be the only part that may have been deliberately goofed.
