Rose Byrne Cuts Oversexed Pop Song

Awwwwww shiiiit we didn’t see this one coming. Performing under the pop star pseudonym Jackie Q, Damages star Rose Byrne has taken a departure from the acting game and released “Supertight” – a saccharine electro number about riding her body, snug orifices and explosives…as a promotional tool for her new movie. It’s for a movie guys. Namely the Russell Brand/Jonah Hill led Get Him to the Greek in which Byrne plays an oversexed pop star named Jackie Q a “former model-turned pop star [whose] bold combination of house beats, high couture and raw sexuality paved the way for a new wave of multimedia artists like Lady Gaga, who cites Jackie as her muse.”

It’s Byrne’s most lascivious role since 2004’s Troy (in which she knocked sandals with a demi-god named Brad Pitt who played a demi-god named Achilles) and she clearly reveled in the ridiculousness.

‘Ride me, inside me, it’s supertight, boom boom’ and I’ve really got to sell it,” Byrne said of the song. “My singing teacher’s there going, ‘RIDE ME, INSIDE ME, IT’S SUPERTIGHT!’ I’m like yeah! Just looking at [director]Nick Stoller going, ‘Did you really go to Harvard? Really?’

Have a listen to the track below and look out for an ever more ridiculous sex-jam in the future: “I have one other song, ‘Pound Me in the Buttocks,’ but I think that might be an iTunes special. It’s pretty subtle. I don’t know, it’s going to take a while for me to get the message across to you. I’m not sure if you’ve got the time. Do you have the time? We didn’t do a video for that one. Sadly I just recorded it in the studio.

Here’s the “Get Him To The Greek” trailer if you’re interested…
