Speaking to Entertainment Tonight at her Fenty X Savage New York show, Rihanna talked about her affinity with Lizzo, who’s currently atop the Billboard charts with her power anthem ‘Truth Hurts’.
“Gosh, I love Lizzo,” Rihanna said. “She’s so badass.”
“I would collaborate with her on the lights for this interview right now.”
She then discussed why Lizzo is the perfect representative of the Savage collection. “She’s everything that Savage stands for. A confident woman, no matter what size, colour, shape… Your attitude is what makes you savage. It’s the confidence that you have in yourself and it’s the confidence you can give off to people who look like you and feel like you… And those are the people that identify with the brand.”
Pretty high accolades from one of the most successful artists on the planet.
Lizzo then shared the video on her Instagram alongside the caption, “*sets up a studio in my coochie* READY FOR OUR COLLAB SIS.” Same, my queen, same.
