Rihanna Is Clueless About The Fact Her Promo Plane Was A Disaster

Remember the fiasco that was Rihanna’s promo tour last year? Rihanna doesn’t! Her seven-day seven-country expedition quickly turned to shit when the disgruntled media who were her on-board guests went rogue, tweeting about their sleep deprivation, infrequent meal provisions and the lack of access to the pop star, with one particular Australian press representative making international news for indulging in pants-free antics on board the Good Ship Rihanna. However, despite unanimous reports that the trip was a disaster, apparently Rihanna thought it was just fabulous.
Speaking recently to Rolling Stone, Rihanna revealed that she was completely unaware of any mutinous behaviour on board her 777 – despite widespread reports that she had apologised to those on board at the tour’s conclusion.

Josh Eells writes:

I asked if she’d been following the drama online.

“What?” she says, like it’s first time hearing of it. “I knew a couple of people got worked up, but only found out toward the end.”

You didn’t hear about the rest? They couldn’t sleep, they didn’t have food, it smelled bad. . . there was almost a riot!

“On the plane?” she says. “That’s crazy!”

In that case, what was it like for her? “Oh I had a great time,” she says. “The fun never stopped for me. I enjoyed every minute of it. And it definitely brought a lot of awareness to the album – which was the whole point.”
‘Awareness’ feels like an ironic choice of words in this particular instance.
