Thirsty AF Rihanna Fans Reckon She Just Teased Some New Music On Instagram

Rihanna

Rihanna fans are in OVERDRIVE after the artist posted a muted – literally muted – video of herself in a studio singing along to what appears to be a bloody banger.

The video, which appeared on Riri’s Instagram Story has since expired, but that didn’t stop fans and alike from saving the video.

Behold, the muted video.

Rihanna has confirmed that new music is on the way, we just don’t know when. While appearing on The Graham Norton Show earlier this year, Rihanna said she was “in the studio at the moment”.

“Who sent you? I know one of my fans got to you, Graham. They paid you well.”

LOVE HER.

Anywhoo, as you can see, she has been real tight-lipped about the entire process so nobody – save her and her team – knows what’s going on.

Although, that hasn’t stopped fans from absolutely losing it over the muted video.

Just on Pop Crave‘s post alone there are comments like “Music industry is saved” with 260 likes, “She’s coming to save pop in 2019 omg”, and “stream ANTI while we wait”.

The last time the goddess released an album was in 2016 with Anti so it has been a fair bit of a time. We did have Kendrick Lamar‘s ‘Loyalty’ featuring Rihanna in 2017 but ya know, the people want an album.

It’s not like Riri doesn’t know her fans are thirsty as hell for new music. A little while ago, the artist expertly meme’d herself with this work of art:

“R9” presumably for her ninth studio album.

Hot new content aside, Rihanna is honestly dominating the world. Back in September, she was at New York Fashion Week for her Savage x Fenty show which was a celebration of womanhoodWomen of all different shapes and colours walked the show… not to mention model Slick Woods who gave birth just hours after walking the runway.

Then there was also Rihanna’s annual Diamond Ball, attended by all the big names in the industry. The Diamond Ball raises awareness and money for the artist’s Clara Lionel FoundationThe event was hosted by Issa Rae with Childish Gambino, Paris Hilton, and Tiffany Haddish in attendance.

Founded in 2012, the Clara Lionel Foundation is a nonprofit organisation focused on improving the lives of disadvantaged communities around the world, specifically in education and healthcare.

Rihanna is deeply passionate about education and recently penned an opinion piece championing the importance of education in developing nations. You can read it in The Guardian, HERE

Or, you can just suss her Twitter to see how she uses the platform to encourage influential figures in power to support equal education.

In September, Rihanna was also made Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of her home country Barbados so honestly, new music can wait a tiny bit longer.
