RatCat To Reform For 20th Anniversary Of ‘Blind Love’

After a five-year hiatus from live performances, Australian indie band Ratcat are reforming to commemorate the 20th anniversary of their 1991 album Blind Love with a one off gig in their home town, Sydney.

The band first gained national attention when their 6-track EP Tingles released through independent record label RooART topped the Australian charts off the back of its fantastic pop single “That Ain’t Bad”. The subsequent release and overwhelming success of Blind Love cemented Ratcat’s position as one of the most significant commercially-influential indie bands of the era.

Ratcat band members Simon Day, Andrew Polin and Nic Dalton are playing, what is at this stage, a one-off show at the Factory Theatre in the Sydney suburb of Marrickville in June, so die hard fans from around the country have plenty of time to book flights to make it for a night of Nineties flashbacks.
