Synonymous with pushing the limits…of aerosol based hair products, Short Stack have announced their split via Facebook saying “Dear friends, as you may be aware, stack is no more.”
“thank you so much for your support over the years, we really cannot express how much it means that you have let our music be a part of your lives and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. also a big thanks to all our crew and management/label; and even though we are no longer making music, we still remain the closest friends.”
The band are survived by a rich cultural legacy including the worst musical feud of 2011, normalisation of the word ‘cunt’, a plagiarised Kanye West review which was subsequently Shaggy’d, and a Jet-style novelty review by the arsonists at the Shame Cauldron.
R.I.P. Short Stack, may you never rise again.
