It’s been over a decade since Pulp fans have been referring to the group in past tense but now in an unexpected and beautiful Revenge Of The Nerds-ish twist of fate, Pulp are set to return with 2011 dates already confirmed for Barcelona’s Primavera Sound and Wireless Festival in the UK.
The original lineup off the seminal Pulp record ‘Different Class’ (1995) will reform for the shows (namely Nick Banks, Jarvis Cocker, Candida Doyle, Steve Mackey, Russell Senior and Mark Webber) and we can only hope and pray that this is the start of an extended Pulp reunion that includes an Australian sojourn.
