Prepare The Glitter Cannons, Australia Is Returning To Eurovision In 2016


After Guy Sebastian surprised the shit out of Europe / the world this year by delivering a knock-out performance at Eurovision, Australia has been invited back to compete again.
This afternoon, SBS, purveyors of all things sparkly and in questionable taste, made the announcement that ‘Straya will be sending a competitor to the 61st Annual Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm.
Julia Zemiro and Sam Pang will once again host the broadcast, and SBS will be announcing Australia’s artist in the new year. The choice should be pretty clear:
