PREMIERE: Cop The Debut Music Vid From Intensely Young Sydney Legend, Ruel

It’s true, Ruel makes me feel heinously old. He’s yet to turn 15, and has toured with Angus & Julia Stone and is set to tour with Khalid next month in Australia and New Zealand. He’s the kind of artist that makes you look at your own life and think “what the fuck am I doing??”

After being discovered by M-Phazes, the boy wonder from Sydney has since clocked up half a million views on the Like A Version he recorded for Triple J, and has been given high praise from Sir Elton John.

He’s only got one song on Spotify, and it’s already got over 4 million streams. This kid’s vocals extend far beyond his young years, and his mature and soulful vibe has you thinking that this guy’s lived a hundred lives.

PEDESTRIAN.TV are stoked to premiere the anticipated video for his single ‘Don’t Tell Me’, which you can check out below.

The video was filmed just outside Amsterdam in a gallery full of exotic animals – hundreds of previous lives surrounding the young artist – tying in with the song’s themes of feeling like he’s lived experiences of many others before him.

He might be a young lad, but absolutely keep an eye on him because with this kind of strong foundation – there’s strong chance he’s about to really take off.
