Poor Delta Goodrem Gets Done For Speeding, Has License Suspended

Poor Delta Goodrem has completed that most quintessentially Australian rite of passage, and had her license suspended after racking up a number of speeding offences.
The singer and Supercars brand ambassador, who is also a judge and mentor on The Voice Australia, was reportedly caught driving over the speed limit on at least two occasions by a traffic camera.
She was handed a fine as well as the suspension in Downing Centre Local Court last week, although her management declined to comment on how long she is barred from driving, or the speed at which she was caught.
Per reports in News Corp, the singer filed an appeal notice, saying: “The last two speeding fines were excessive and did not warrant the demerit points. I feel the speed camera is inaccurate and would like to appeal.”
According to manager Jennifer Fontaine, however, she decided to drop the appeal and take it on the chin. Speaking to media after the news broke, Fontaine said:

“With respect for the system and after consideration she withdrew her appeal regarding the speeding camera infringements. I’m not at liberty to say anything further.”
It is unclear how, if at all, this will affect her Supercars deal, although they are said to be seeking further details about her driving suspension from her management.
