The first track off new Phoenix record Bankrupt! debuted on Zane Lowe’s BBC1 radio show and the band have now released it online via Facebook. It’s called “Entertainment” and features a Chinese-inspired synth riff, a big rock chorus and singer Thomas Mars doing his highest, almost Taylor Hanson-esque, falsetto. Phoenix fans should be happy with this return.
Bankrupt! will be released the week of 22 April.
