The subject of that incredibly funny joke you made on Twitter – God you’re just so funny – Pharrell’s Hat, is currently up for auction on eBay. At the time of writing, sixty-four (64) ernest offers to own a “piece of pop culture history” have resulted in a current bidding price of $10,500 – a considerable improvement on The Hat’s opening price, a steal at just $200 (RRP).
“I’m auctioning off my hat from the Grammys to benefit [not for profit children’s charity] From One Hand to AnOTHER” wrote Pharrell on Twitter in a missive that would go on to launch a thousand more laugh-per-minute millinery gags, including one of his own devising:
Hey @Arbys, you want my hat? Now’s your chance…http://t.co/CsW204Eo4R

The Hat – a Vivienne Westwood buffalo inspired by the A/W1982-1983 ‘Nostalgia of Mud’ and ‘Buffalo’ collections purchased from her first store, World’s End, and designed in collaboration with her partner and the grandfather of punk, Malcolm McLaren – is referred to in the item description as being “one of the biggest hits of the 2014 Grammys“; also, “Brown”.
The Hat comes with a letter of authenticity. Pharrell’s patented brand of perpetual youth serum is not included. Because it’s illegal to traffic in human haemoglobin on eBay.
