Pedestrian Readers Top Ten Albums of 2011

The poll results are in from our Readers Poll of the Best Albums of 2011, and there’s certainly one clear winner this year.

Aussie/Kiwi/Somebody That We Used To Know Kimbra took out the top spot with Vows by a country mile, though that may have something to do with the fact that she was the only artist who publicised the comp on her Facebook page. Let this be a lesson to her foil, Gotye, who ran fifth; social media is what the cool kids do. Elsewhere hype acts SBTRKT and Girls tied in eighth place and Jigga and Yeezy’s insistence on saying ‘That shit cray’ a milli times earned them the runner-up spot.
