The first lineup of musical acts booked for Peats Ridge – one of New Year’s Eve’s most scenic and sustainable festivals – has just been announced, and as usual it features a combination of international and local talents covering a range of genres. Heading over from across the seas are UK break beat legends Stanton Warriors and turntablist A-Skillz share the bill with the Sixties-inspired dream-pop of US group Dum Dum Girls and Japanese funk outfit Mountain Mocha Kilimanjaro. Local acts include Gotye – who will take the midnight shift to ring in the new year.
Peats Ridge runs from 29 December 2011 – 01 January 2012 at glorious Glenworth Valley, and it’s one of the few festivals in Australia that is 100 per cent child friendly. Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10am on Monday 12th September (full details below).
