Shred Lords Parkway Drive Announce Huge 2020 Tour With Every Time I Die & Hatebreed

After mercilessly pummelling crowds into the dirt at Good Things Festival for the last couple of weeks, Parkway Drive has announced a huge tour for the winter of 2020, including some of their biggest Australian shows to date.

It seems like nobody had a bad thing to say about the Byron Bay gang (who would still probably drop everything if the swell was off chops) after their festival headline sets brought insane pyrotechnics and a pit so big you’d pretty much get your preseason fitness in running around it. Parkway has emerged from the dust a couple of days later to announce the Viva The Underdogs Australian Revolution tour, bringing along two heavyweights of the US metalcore scene for the ride.

Noted heavy riff kings, Buffalo’s finest boys Every Time I Die, will tear apart arenas across Australia before everything gets entirely reduced to rubble from hardcore stalwarts, Hatebreed, who are celebrating 25 years of total chaos.

I am doing everything in my power to not throw my computer out the window and punch a hole through the floor at the sheer power of these shows. The riffs, the RIFFS.

The tour kicks off at Brisbane’s Riverstage on June 13, before headed to two (2) arena shows in Sydney and Melbourne, a night at AEC Theatre in Adelaide, before finishing off the Tour De Force at Perth’s HBF Staduim on June 24.

It’s a long way from being flattened at a no-barrier Parkway Drive show at Ulladulla Civic Centre in 2006, let me tell you.

Tickets for the shows go on sale from 9am local time on December 18, so gather your most furious friends and perfect your power-windmilling skills, you’re due for some winter headsurfing, folks.
