Paris Hilton Has Nailed Down A Brissy DJ Gig And No, The 2000s Never Ended

Finally, Australia is set to connect with Paris Hilton in a manner that doesn’t involve Rob Mills, nor his yuck genitalia-rating capabilities.

Instead, the heiress, reality TV star, noughties cultural touchstone and human punchline of waning impact will be coming Down Under to perform at least one DJ set.

Hilton, who has apparently made a legitimate gig out of her party-starting skills around the joint for the past few years, will be bringing her nostalgic brand of OTT opulence to Brisbane’s Fluffy on November 20.

It’s all a part of her Gold Rush tour, which implies there will be more than one stop on this diamante-encrusted journey. Oh, for the record, this whole deal is to promote her new fragrance. So, uh, job done already then.

If the news of her arrival ain’t enough for you, you’ll actually be to buy tickets here from 9am tomorrow.

While you toss the mummified chihuahua shit out of your least-favourite hold-all, feel free to hear about the stereotypical bunk hurled at Australia’s female DJs on the reg – and hold out hope for Hilton actually delivering a night of polyphonic ringtone bangers:
