If you’re already trying to figure out wtf you’re going to do for New Year’s Eve in Sydney this year, maybe take NYE In The Park into deep consideration.
In its second year of existence, the big fezzy in Victoria Park is set to be a solid step up of a serious party right near the heart of the city. The grassy expanses of the park in front of Sydney University will turn into a huge boogie to say a fond farewell to 2018 – because let’s be real it’s been another punish of a year – and a big ol’ g’day to 2019.
Kicking off at 5pm, the stage is set to be lit the fuck up by The Presets, Confidence Man, The Jungle Giants, Hayden James, Thundamentals, and everyone’s favourite trip through the musical mages, Hot Dub Time Machine to name but a few.
Legit, if this is what Confidence Man’s NYE looked like last year then hot damn it’s going to be a big party.
Literally imagine stamping in the new year to ‘Tools Down‘ – truly a great omen for the 12 months ahead, right? Right.
Joining the big party is a select array of gourmet street food and delicious bevs so you don’t go hungry (or thirsty) while you shake off the dregs of the year that was and dive headfirst into 2019, making pacts and resolutions that you’ll probably forget about the next day.
Seriously check out this shit-hot lineup and tell me right to my face where you’d rather be than NYE In The Park.
