Nominations are open for the 2011 FBi SMAC Awards, but not for much longer! If you’d like to draw their attention to Sydney artists, musicians, restaurants, collectives, video clips, events or individuals who you think are amazing, head to their nominations page before 5pm, November 11 (that’s tomorrow!). The SMACS exist to award creativity and innovation and to celebrate the leaders, thinkers and doers of our town so have a say in who should be recognised! Nominate your favourite Sydneysiders in Best Live Music Act, Best Music Event, Next Big Thing – Music, Best Song, Record Of The Year, Best Collective (presented by yours truly), Best Artist, Best Performer, Best Arts Event, Remix The City, Best Major Festival, SMAC of the Year, Best On Screen and new category Best Eats. That one’s self explanatory.
