No Good Vibes For Friendly Fires

English indie-dance outfit Friendly Fires have pulled out of the Good Vibrations tour because of a family emergency.

The band have posted an apology to fans on their Facebook profile:

Hey everyone,
Unfortunately we have had to cancel our trip to Australia because of a family emergency within the band. Heartfelt apologies to anyone who was looking forward to our shows, we hope we’ll have the chance to come and play for you all very soon.

Despite the cancellation, there will still be plenty of great tunes on offer from a stellar lineup including: The Killers, Z-Trip, Busta Rhymes, Basement Jaxx, Naughty By Nature, Plump Djs, Gossip, Salt-n-Pepa and Armand Van Helden.

Good Vibrations kicks off with the Sydney leg this Saturday at Sydney’s Centennial Park, so start practicing those dance moves with a little bit of inspiration from Friendly Fires’ front man, Ed McFarlane:
