Grammy Award-nominated artist Nipsey Hussle has died after being gunned down outside his clothing store in Los Angeles earlier today. He was 33 years old.

Hussle was reportedly shot several times by an unidentified assailant outside the Marathon Clothing store he owned in the Hyde Park area of South Los Angeles. Two other men were also injured in the shooting. They are said to be in hospital in a serious condition.
Reports suggest Hussle was shot as many as six times. He was transported to hospital, with law enforcement officials in Los Angeles confirming the rapper had died a short time ago.

Hussle released his debut studio album Victory Lap last year, following a string of mixtapes that brought him into the public eye. The album was a critical and commercial hit, peaking at #4 on the Billboard 200 charts, and receiving a nomination for Best Rap Album at last year’s Grammy Awards, ultimately losing out to Cardi B‘s Invasion of Privacy.
