Poor old Mario Balotelli. Already suffering through a love-less relationship with Manchester City manger Roberto Mancini (how dare he sub Balotelli – ever), now the Italian striker can’t even get a moment 4 life with hip-hop starlet Nicki Minaj.
Balotelli attended Minaj’s concert having set up a meet with the Superbass star after the show but Minaj pulled out of the meeting citing exhaustion. A source close Balotelli said the volatile striker was devastated. ‘Mario was gutted. He’s a big fan and turned up with gifts along with his other Man City team-mates. But Nicki was too tired after the gig and feasted on a massive Nando’s order instead – so he went home disappointed. He’d even bought a camera especially.’
It’s not the first time Mario has been snubbed by a hip-hop heavyweight. Balotelli challenged Jay-Z to a drag race earlier this year. No reply was forthcoming. As if Jay-Z drives himself anywhere these days.
