In music news that literally nobody saw coming a million miles away, Avril Lavigne and Nicki Minaj are releasing a song together tomorrow, called ‘Dumb Blonde‘.

It’s probably one of the most unlikely (??) duos coming together to make music, in a collaboration that we could never have even dreamed of. It’s two decades of life are smashing together in something that could either be fantastic or a total wreck and either way, it’s going to be spectacular.
Avril tweeted the news this morning, and it was so powerful that I immediately had to take a lap around the office to process just exactly what the fuck happened.

I can’t even begin to imagine what this is even going to sound like, but it could very easily be the biggest/most iconic collab of the year we’ve got on our hands here. Will it be like Avril’s last collab with a rapper, that fateful earworm with Lil’ Mama by the name of ‘Girlfriend‘?
The only thing that’s obvious is that both Avril Lavigne and Nicki Minaj are super excited to have worked together, which is too wholesome in and of itself.
