Niall Horan just let it slip that music queen Lizzo used a sneaky pick-up line on him when they first met and yes, it was smooth as hell.
The former One Direction singer discussed their first meeting on Thursday night’s episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

“I was in London doing a radio performance in the studio,” Niall said. “She was coming in to do an interview in the studio as well and someone said, ‘Oh, Lizzo’s here! She’d love to meet you.’”
It turns out Lizzo is as big of a 1D fan as we all are, and she decided to shoot her damn shot. Who knows when you’re going to bump into Niall Horan again.
“We’re passing in the corridor, I was like, ‘Ah! Lovely to meet you!’ Gave her a big hug. ‘Your voice is incredible. Your songs are amazing. You’re absolutely smashing it,’” he explained. “And literally, without missing a beat, she just went, ‘You can smash this!’”
The 26-year-old singer complimented Lizzo on her confidence and quick wit.
“I actually started blushing myself!”
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen the ‘Good As Hell’ singer shooting her shot, either. Lizzo recently announced her crush on NBA player Karl-Anthony Towns at an LA Lakers game last week.
Considering the fact that Niall told Hit 90.9 last week that he’s “very much single,” Lizzo could really be in with a shot here.
Maybe they won’t be dating anytime soon, but we can only hope they’ll release some sort of stupidly-talented musical collaboration. I mean, give the people what they want!
Lizzo’s confidence and determination is something we can all only aspire to have.
