I was on the set of a teenagersintokyo film clip once. Twice actually. Not as an extra or lighting guy or anything. Just a useless loiterer getting in everyone’s way and hoping to enhance the general vibe of proceedings. I hope I helped, apologies if I didn’t.
I remember one of my best friends, who Directed the “Very Vampyr” video, shot the band on an ancient camera while perched on the back of a moving car. It was pretty ghetto and it was great. But holy shit they must have whole new worlds of technology in merry London (teenagersintokyo’s new home) because their video for “Black Bones” is pretty much a trailer for a new Guy Ritchie film that doesn’t suck. Mind your feet as jaws hit the ground.
