Breathe easy you legions of fans – Thurston, Kim, Lee and Steve better known as Sonic Youth will release a new album this year.
Thurston Moore has revealed that the followup to 2006’s “Rather Ripped” which is tentatively titled “The Eternal” is in the final stages of recording and is slated for a June release.
Speaking with Uncut Moore also revealed that it would be “a record replete with juicy supersonic songs” which would probably sound corny coming out of anyone else’s mouth….
