Initially released in March via Mountain Dew’s own imprint Green Label Sound, Neon Indian’s “Sleep Paralysist” is an archetypal piece of chillwavery that mines the same video game synth lines, echo laden vocals and general nostalgia of his contemporaries. But holy production values you should see the accompanying music video because it’s the polar opposite of the damaged home movies his peers call film clips.
